Medicare rebates

Amber Dodds Psychology is registered with Medicare, which means Australian clients can access Medicare rebates to help meet the cost of therapy. You will require a Mental Health Treatment Plan or Referral from your GP which will cover you for up to 10 sessions annually.

Make the most of online therapy

A quiet, private, confidential space is most suitable for when engaging in online therapy.

Ensure you have a good WIFI/internet connection and your devices are charged.

Make sure you are comfortable, have some tissues and a cup of tea or glass of water handy, and that you dress appropriately as if you were attending a normal face-to-face appointment.

Zoom videoconferencing

Our 60-minute psychological therapy sessions are conducted using the freely available Zoom online videoconferencing platform. Please download the Zoom app to your PC or smartphone before our meeting and test your video and audio connection. If Zoom or the internet cuts out, your psychologist will call your mobile from a private number to continue the session.
